Prudential Buys Back Shares

Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) bought back a total of 785,904 shares in London between Monday and Wednesday at average prices ranging from about 10.89 pounds sterling to 11.14 pounds sterling apiece, according to Friday Hong Kong bourse filings.

The insurer intends to cancel the repurchased shares.

Following the Feb. 18 buyback and the allotment of 1,357 shares under employee share schemes, the company has about 2.54 billion shares in issue.
