当地时间周四，大众汽车在美国田纳西州查塔努加市的一家工厂的工人以 96%的赞成票通过了由美国汽车工人联合会（UAW）协商达成的劳工协议，这标志着UAW主席肖恩·费恩任期内取得的最重要胜利之一。
美国南方地区一直是工会难以攻克的难关，而费恩自 2023 年当选UAW主席以来，就把组织该地区的工厂以及全美各地工厂的活动作为自己的首要任务。
根据这份为期四年的协议，工人们将获得 20%的加薪，同时还将享受到更好的医疗保障和工作保障。
“大众汽车的员工又克服了一座难关，”费恩在一份声明中说道。
该工会在大众汽车的行动旨在与底特律在 2023 年取得的巨大成果相匹配。当时，福特、通用汽车和斯特兰蒂斯公司经历了为期六周的罢工，最终将工资提高了 25% 并进行了生活成本调整。
UAW与大众汽车就该公司在美国唯一一家生产ID.4电动SUV的工厂的协议细节进行了约 18 个月的谈判。他们本月早些时候达成了一项暂定协议。
大众汽车在一份声明中表示：“这一里程碑反映了我们对有竞争力的工资、丰厚的福利以及员工和运营的长期成功的共同承诺。”
