智通财经APP获悉，香港财经事务及库务局副局长陈浩濂在香港黄金交易所马年新春开市仪式时表示，为进一步多元发展香港国际金融业务，正全力推动香港成为国际黄金交易中心，吸引黄金现货在香港储存、清算和交割，带动投资交易衍生产品、仓储、保险、贸易和物流等产业链。政府将继续推动政策优化、金融基建和科技创新，吸引更多国际资金和人才来港，进一步强化香港作为超级联系人和超级增值人角色，主动对接十五五规划融入和服务国家发展大局，巩固和提升香港作为国际金融中心的地位。
陈浩濂称，目标3年内黄金仓储超越2000吨，打造香港成为区域黄金储存枢纽，又积极推动金商在香港建立或扩建精炼厂，并已与深圳地方金融管理局签署合作备忘录，依法依规支持香港金商，通过加工贸易合作方式，采用在深圳设立的黄金精炼设施，精炼黄金后出口至香港作交易和交割用途，亦将会大力策动沪港黄金市场合作。由政府全资拥有的香港黄金清算系统目标在今年内开展试营运。
