库存积压，<a href="https://laohu8.com/S/CME">芝加哥商品交易所</a>（CME）考虑在芝加哥设立铜仓库
路透伦敦2月19日 - 美国商品交易所运营商CME集团CME.O的一份通知显示，CME集团已收到一份将芝加哥郊区一家铜仓库列为认可仓库的申请，进口关税的前景 (link) 促使交易商囤积。
路透周四看到的这份日期为2月18日的通知显示，Kodiak Warehouse LLC已申请在伊利诺伊州莱蒙特市接收CME Comex铜期货HGc1的可交割铜。
CME 没有立即回应置评请求。
如果获批，科迪亚克仓库将成为CME在伊利诺伊州唯一获批的基本金属仓库，CME网站上的存储地点列表显示。
CME铜仓库的总容量为1,100,000短吨，全部位于美国，其中一半以上位于路易斯安那州，消息人士称，即使是庞大的新奥尔良枢纽也开始爆满。
在明年可能征收进口关税之前，贸易商增加了运往美国的船货，推动Comex铜库存 (link) HG-STX-COMEX 达到创纪录的595,518短吨，或540,245公吨。
科迪亚克的申请是今年向芝加哥商品交易所提出的第四个新建铜仓储设施的申请，但其中一个申请已被撤回。
伦敦金属交易所在芝加哥也有仓库，不过自2022年MCU-USCHI-TOTPD以来这些仓库就没有储存过任何铜。
