ChainCatcher 消息，日本比特币财库公司 Metaplanet 首席执行官 Simon Gerovich 在 X 平台发文回应匿名账号在无责任前提下煽动舆论并指责公司 “信息披露不诚实”，他表示相关说法与事实不符，其本人及公司愿对所有言行承担公开责任，该公司长期系统性增持比特币战略不变。
Simon Gerovich 表示，该公司过去 6 个月在波动率上升背景下，加大对收益型业务配置，通过出售看跌期权及价差策略获取权利金，并将部分资金用于长期持有比特币。所有比特币购买行为均在决策后第一时间披露，公司全部比特币地址公开，股东可通过实时仪表盘查看持仓情况。针对 “9 月高位买入且未披露” 的指控，其称 9 月共进行 4 次购币，并均已及时公告，该公司策略并非择时，而是长期、体系化积累比特币。此外，出售看跌期权并非单纯押注上涨，而是以低于现货价格的有效成本获取比特币。经常性亏损主要源于长期持有且不会出售的比特币的未实现公允价值波动，将其解读为战略失败属于误读。
