俄罗斯外长拉夫罗夫18日表示，日内瓦谈判中对伊朗提出彻底放弃铀浓缩权利的要求“不恰当”。
据俄外交部网站消息，拉夫罗夫当天在接受阿拉伯卫星电视台专访时说，在美伊日内瓦谈判中出现了不恰当的说法，伊朗被要求彻底放弃在任何用途下进行铀浓缩的权利，大幅削减其导弹计划并停止对该地区任何政治力量施加影响。
拉夫罗夫认为，伊朗拥有开展铀浓缩以用于和平目的的权利。
拉夫罗夫表示，以色列总理内塔尼亚胡主张对伊朗采取激进措施，这一主张损害伊朗在《不扩散核武器条约》及其他国际条约和公约框架下享有的合法权利。阿拉伯国家不希望局势升级，向美方发出的信号十分明确：呼吁保持克制，寻求达成协议。
美国和伊朗第二轮间接谈判17日在瑞士日内瓦举行。美伊官员在谈判结束后均表示，尽管分歧仍存，但谈判较上一轮取得进展，双方同意继续接触。
