European Lithium (ASX:EUR) said it found rare earth mineralization at the Hill Zone deposit of the Tanbreez project in Greenland, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The company reported assay results that it received for 33 diamond drill holes from the 2010 drilling campaign, comprising 1,014 samples.
The results show a weighted average grade of 0.44% total rare earth oxides plus yttrium (TREO+Y), with individual drill intersections ranging from 0.31% to 0.94% TREO+Y, and an average 24.1% heavy rare earth oxides (HREO) component.
Gallium oxide assays range from 87 parts per million (ppm) to 117 ppm, and zirconium oxide assays range from 1.04% to 3.81%.
The company added that the results show strong correlation and consistency of high-grade rare earth mineralization within the existing deposit, and a priority infill resource drilling is planned for the 2026 field season.
