0645 GMT - The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield averaged at 4.2% in the past year, and also averaged at this level in the past three years, ING rates strategists Padhraic Garvey and Benjamin Schroeder say in a note. Maybe there is a macro vulnerability narrative calling for a break below 4%, they say. "But we like the 4.2% average tendency", they say, and expect the yield to rise back towards that level. The 10-year Treasury yield last trades at 4.068%, according to Tradeweb. (emese.bartha@wsj.com)
