** Shares of tin explorer Elementos Ltd ELT.AX rise 15.7% to A$0.405, their highest level since Feb 5

** Co to raise A$29.5 million via private placement at A$0.34 per new share

** Says funds raised will be used for tin projects in Europe and Tasmania

** Issue price represents a discount of 2.9% to stock's last close

** About 142.4 mln shares change hands, 2x the 30-day average of 121.6 mln

** Stock up 30.2% YTD including moves in current
