日本央行前审议委员安达诚司表示，央行可能会以4月份发布一系列新数据为契机上调基准利率，不会理会市场对于3月采取行动的揣测。
“3月加息会有风险，因为决策将基于预期而非事实，”安达诚司周一接受采访时表示。“等到4月，他们将掌握大量数据，足以确认核心通胀是否上升。”
与此同时，市场对于日本央行可能在春季加息的预期也在日益升温，这比去年12月加息后大多数经济学家对于下一步行动的时点预测要早。
虽然不少人认为首相高市早苗在取得选举胜利后，可能会阻碍日本央行货币政策正常化进程，但在安达诚司看来，高市早苗不太可能阻止加息，因为这将适得其反。
“高市早苗似乎对市场动态非常敏感，”安达诚司称。“如果她施压央行不要加息，市场反应很可能是日元贬值。”
日本央行行长植田和男表示，周一在与首相讨论经济议题并交换看法的会面中，高市早苗并未提出具体要求。
