Alligator Energy (ASX:AGE) said it has completed both dry and wet commissioning activities at its Samphire Pilot Plant in Australia, in line with the project schedule and within the budget, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The company said it will now proceed to energize the plant and undertake final operational preparations with the full operations team recruited and inducted, and final preparation for the field recovery trial (FRT) operations now underway.

The company will start the first test pattern pre-conditioning next week in readiness for uranium extraction, with the FRT to run for about four months, with the first results expected in late March.

Concurrent work streams are progressing, including aggressive drilling programs to commence at Samphire and Big Lake this quarter, the filing added.
