Structural Monitoring Systems Unit Launches Panel-Mount Very High Frequency FM Radio

Structural Monitoring Systems' (ASX:SMN) wholly-owned unit Anodyne Electronics Manufacturing launched a new panel-mount Very High Frequency FM radio, the MTP138, for special-mission aircraft operations, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The radio is designed for analogue communication on all channels across the 138 megahertz to 174 megahertz frequency band. It was developed in consultation with offshore, air medical, search and rescue, and coast guard operators.

The unit is evaluating regional STCs for the most popular aircraft models to assist with operator integration.
