Uber Technologies and Life360 expanded their partnership to allow users of the location-sharing app to link their accounts with Uber.

The companies said Tuesday that this will make it easier for parents and teens to coordinate rides and stay informed in real time.

Uber and Life360's collaboration already had features to help family members coordinate, such as giving users ride reminders when members landed at airports.

The new integration will be available later this year.

Uber launched a special teen accounts feature in 2023, which lets parents invite their teens to create a specialized account that parents can supervise.
