1531 ET - Sysco is looking to expand its offerings of value-tier products, Chief Executive Officer Kevin Hourican says at the 2026 Consumer Analyst Group of New York conference. He says the foodservice distribution company is performing well at the higher end of the product mix, but "we are missing products in the value-tier section." Hourican emphasized that this is not about lowering prices on existing products or trade-down behavior from consumers. "This is about bringing products into our assortment that we do not currently carry," he says. Though getting those products onto trucks is a slow process, he says, "that work is well underway," adding that the company will be focusing on the product mix over roughly the next year.
