0609 GMT - VIP Industries likely faces some challenges post its leadership transition, Elara Securities (India)'s analysts say in a research report. Its performance has stayed weak during the past two years amid management churn, intense price competition and persistent margin pressure from slow-moving inventory, the analysts note. Following the leadership transition, the luggage manufacturer's strategic visibility is weak and brand and channel performance could take time to recover. The brokerage trims its revenue estimates for the Indian company by 3.6% for FY 2026, 2.2% for FY 2027, and 1.8% for FY 2028. It downgrades the stock's rating to accumulate from buy with an unchanged target price of INR430.00. Shares are 2.5% lower at INR360.70. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
