美国能源部长克里斯·赖特表示，委内瑞拉今年有望将石油产量提高30%至40%，相当于日产量增加约30万至40万桶。

　　赖特在巴黎出席国际能源署（IEA）部长级会议期间接受采访时表示，公司对进入委内瑞拉表现出“巨大的”兴趣。他还表示，上述增产规模相当于今年全球石油需求增长的约三分之一。

　　特朗普政府近期向少数西方石油公司发放了在委内瑞拉开展业务的许可。在今年早些时候马杜罗被捕后，美国正试图复苏委内瑞拉的石油产业并重振其经济。自2017年美国首次对委内瑞拉实施金融制裁以来，委内瑞拉石油产量已下降约一半。
