Alpha HPA (ASX:A4N) entered a letter of intent for 60 tonnes-per-annum to supply its "zero alpha" emission products to a Japanese manufacturer of spherical, high-purity alumina fillers to support the packing of semiconductors, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

Alpha expects the letter of intent to be followed by binding commitments in 2026 and 2027. It also has additional binding orders to supply a further six tonnes of ultra-high purity materials within 2026.

It also began testwork for the use of its "zero alpha emission" high-purity alumina product in testwork to support higher thermal conductivity in printed circuit boards for data centers.

Alpha is in continuous production of the stage 1 HPA First project across its full range of high-purity alumina materials and is building stage 2 of the project.
