Health care stocks were mixed premarket Friday, with the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) slightly declining and the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) 0.1% higher.
Sanofi (SNY) has been sued by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton over allegations that it offers improper incentives to healthcare providers to prescribe its drugs. Sanofi stock was down more than 1% pre-bell.
