1026 ET - Consumers' tastes are evolving, Conagra Brands CEO Sean Connolly says at the Consumer Analyst Group of New York conference. For starters, health and wellness has never been more important to shoppers, he says, adding that the trend bodes well for the food-and-snacks company, whose portfolio includes Birds Eye frozen vegetables and Fatty smoked meat sticks. The company is looking to capitalize on protein and fiber, both of which continue to sell well despite ongoing macroeconomic concerns. Conagra is also leaning into bolder, spicier flavors that are resonating with Gen Z shoppers across its snack business. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
