Challenger (ASX:CGF) reported Tuesday fiscal first-half normalized earnings of AU$0.314 per share, up from AU$0.293 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of AU$0.32.
Revenue from ordinary activities for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2025, was AU$1.58 billion, compared with AU$1.57 billion a year earlier.
The company reaffirmed its fiscal 2026 normalized earnings guidance of AU$0.66 to AU$0.72 per basic share. Analysts polled by FactSet expect earnings of AU$0.65.
The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.155 per share, up from AU$0.145 a year earlier, payable March 24 to shareholders on record as of Feb. 25.
