Samsung Heavy Industries (KRX:010140) secured an order for one liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier from a buyer in the Oceania region, according to a Friday filing with the Korea Exchange.
The deal is valued at 368 billion won, and the shipbuilder will deliver the containerships by May 31, 2028.
Shares of Samsung Heavy Industries rose 2% at market close.
