马斯克旗下的SpaceX及其全资子公司xAI，正在参与美国国防部一项全新的保密竞赛，研发语音控制、自主化无人机蜂群技术。

　　马斯克已于2月初宣布，这两家公司将进行合并。 这两家马斯克旗下企业进军人工智能武器研发新领域，标志着马斯克迈出了颇具争议性的新一步。

　　尽管SpaceX已是成熟的国防承包商，且马斯克本人热衷于推动人工智能发展，但他此前也曾公开反对“为杀人制造新工具”。

　　知情人士称，马斯克的公司是今年1月启动、奖金高达1亿美元挑战赛中仅有的几家入选方之一。SpaceX与xAI的参与此前未被报道过。

　　这项为期六个月的竞赛，目标是开发先进蜂群技术，可将语音指令转为数字指令并操控多架无人机。
