2 月 20 日，报道称微软通过 Microsoft 365 管理中心发布通知，确认将于 2026 年 3 月 31 日起，在桌面端、移动端及 Web 端全面停用 Outlook 的“联系人屏蔽”（Contact Masking）功能。
IT之家注：Contact Masking 是 Outlook 中的一项功能，用户在撰写邮件时，通过点击自动建议列表（Auto-complete list）中联系人旁边的“X”号，来阻止该联系人再次出现在建议中。
用户在 Outlook 的收件人（To）、抄送（Cc）或密送（Bcc）栏输入信息后，系统会弹出建议联系人列表。“联系人屏蔽”功能支持用户点击名字旁的“X”图标，从而在未来的通信建议中隐藏该联系人。
至于下线原因，微软表示是该功能引发的用户困惑与投诉。用户在点击“X”后有 5 秒钟的反悔时间，但该操作的后果远超预期，它不仅是在 Outlook 中隐藏联系人，还会在 Teams、Microsoft 365 搜索等整个生态系统中同步移除该联系人。
在功能退役后，微软强调将不会提供替代方案。从 2026 年 4 月起，用户此前通过该功能隐藏的所有联系人，将重新出现在 Microsoft 365 各项服务的建议列表中。
微软建议 IT 管理员及时更新内部文档并培训用户，明确告知这一跨应用行为的一致性调整，以减少潜在的工作流干扰。
