Cobram Estate Olives (ASX:CBO) said it was unlikely that it would complete the proposed acquisition of US-based California Olive Ranch by the expected date of Feb. 28, to allow time for US Department of Justice review, but it remained confident of receiving the anti-trust approval by March 12, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It expects to settle the proposed acquisition within two weeks of the approval.
The firm has been responding to voluntary requests for information about the COR transaction from the Department, as part of the normal anti-trust approval process, over the past three weeks.
