消息面上，近日，据证券时报报道，环球新材国际在浙江省桐庐县年产10万吨人工合成云母项目日前举行点火通线仪式，标志着这一围绕关键基础新材料展开的产能布局正式进入生产运行准备阶段。环球新材国际方面表示，桐庐项目投产后，将为公司全球供应链提供稳定的高品质合成云母核心基材，有效解决其天然云母采购成本高、ESG采购溢价等痛点，从原材料端强化自主供给能力，优化成本结构、提升供应链韧性。
据了解，当前，高端合成云母需求缺口凸显已成为行业明确趋势，合成替代天然云母更形成行业共识。公开信息显示，全球超七成天然云母供应依赖印度，且高品位资源已日渐枯竭；叠加天然云母开采存在的ESG相关问题，不断抬升国际企业的采购与审查成本，供应链集中度高、稳定性不足的短板愈发突出。
