Stanmore's Coal Resources Falls in 2025; Shares Rise 8%

Stanmore Resources (ASX:SMR) reported coal resources across all controlled tenements of 5.1 billion tonnes for the period ended Dec. 31, 2025, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The company reported 5.13 billion tonnes of coal resources across all controlled tenements for the period ended Dec. 31, 2024, an earlier filing showed.

Run-of-mine coal reserves across all controlled tenements, formally declared and published, reached 571 million tonnes, up from 534 million tonnes.

While total marketable coal reserves sit at 388 million tonnes, up from 360 million tonnes.

Shares of the company rose 8% in recent Monday trade.
