Symal Group (ASX:SYL) reported Monday fiscal first-half earnings of AU$0.0783 per share, up from AU$0.0477 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings/loss of AU$0.09.
Revenue and other income for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2025, reached AU$504.2 million, compared with AU$404.6 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected revenue of AU$493 million.
The company said it expects fiscal year 2026 earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of AU$117 million to AU$127 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expect EBITDA of AU$124 million for the fiscal year.
The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.033 per share payable on April 2 to shareholders on record as of March. It did not declare an interim dividend in the first half of fiscal year 2025.
