IT之家 2 月 23 日消息，谷歌今天联合教育组织 ISTE 与 ASCD 推出一项计划，为全美 600 万名教师提供免费的 Gemini AI 培训。

IT之家在此援引谷歌新闻稿，培训课程涵盖如何使用谷歌自家的 AI 产品 Gemini 和 NotebookLM，旨在帮助教师自身及 7400 万名学生如何在课堂上安全使用 AI。课程被设计得简单实用，提供具体示例。
此外，本计划预计将在未来几个月启动，有兴趣的教师可以直接从谷歌报名。
当然，这种“免费午餐”背后肯定有明确的战略意图，谷歌当然希望学生能够在读书时就熟悉自家的工具，从而在未来的职业生涯中继续使用并离不开这些生态。OpenAI 和 Anthropic 也推行过类似策略，但这两家公司通常喜欢和大学合作，为高校学生提供 AI 会员折扣甚至是免费使用。
