Santana Minerals Raises Around AU$113 Million Via Unconditional Placement, Shares Fall Over 4%

Santana Minerals (ASX:SMI, NZE:SMI) confirmed that it issued 125.5 million fully-paid ordinary shares via an unconditional placement to raise around AU$113 million before expenses, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
It plans to seek shareholder approval for the conditional component of the placement, to raise a further AU$17 million.
Its shares fell 4% in recent trading on the Australian bourse on Tuesday, and fell 2% on the New Zealand bourse.
