Nam Cheong Secures Shipbuilding Contract Worth Nearly $65 Million

Nam Cheong (SGX:1MZ) secured a shipbuilding contract for four offshore support vessels (OSVs) worth over $64.5 million from a UAE-based global energy maritime logistics company, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Under the agreement, the shipbuilding company will deliver two 60-meter dive support vessels and two 60-meter remote operating landing crafts in the second half of 2027 and early 2028.

All four OSVs will be constructed at the company's Miri Yard in Sarawak, Malaysia, the filing said.
