1409 ET - Importers like Costco that already filed protective lawsuits and preserved their claims regarding tariffs are likely the best positioned to seek repayment after the Supreme Court rejected President Trump's tariffs, Jefferies analysts say in a note. However, it remains unclear how quickly, and on what terms, any refunds would flow through to companies, the analysts say. That will likely hinge on guidance from the Treasury Department and Customs and Border Protection regarding administration, documentation and timing, they say. (kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
