True North Copper Secures AU$400,000 Queensland Government Funding for Mine Waste Reprocessing Assessment

True North Copper (ASX:TNC) secured AU$400,000 in government funding to assess legacy mine waste streams at its Mt Oxide project in Queensland, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company executed a letter of intent with Regeneration Enterprises to collaborate on program delivery and evaluate potential longer-term commercial opportunities, the filing said.

True North Copper shares rose 2% in midday trade on Tuesday.
