智通财经APP获悉，致力于开发活体生物药物以激发免疫反应的临床阶段癌症生物技术公司Salspera(TKVA.US)，周一披露了其美股首次公开募股(IPO)条款。
这家总部位于马萨诸塞州剑桥市的公司计划通过发行570万股股票(发行价区间为每股14至16美元)筹集8500万美元资金。
Salspera旨在开发一类全新的免疫疗法用于治疗实体瘤，该公司将其命名为“活体生物药”，即经过基因改造、能够在肿瘤微环境内表达特定抗肿瘤因子的生物制剂。
其先导项目Saltikva是一种经过减毒改造的鼠伤寒沙门氏菌菌株，无毒且可口服给药。该菌株经工程化设计，可表达人白细胞介素-2基因(即Salmonella-IL2)，这可能有助于增加肿瘤微环境及外周血中NK细胞和CD8+细胞毒性T细胞的数量。公司目前主要针对胰腺癌，并已完成一项针对IV期转移性胰腺癌患者的II期试验。
