Chevron (CVX) and Exxon Mobil (XOM) have purchased condensate cargoes from Saudi Aramco's $100 billion Jafurah gas project, Reuters reported Monday, citing four unnamed trade sources.

According to the report, Chevron bought two Jafurah condensate cargoes for loading later this month and in March. Meanwhile, Exxon and India's Indian Oil also secured cargoes for lifting next month, the report said.

The cargoes were sold at premiums of $2 to $3 per barrel above Dubai benchmark quotes on a free-on-board basis, the sources told Reuters.

Chevron's first cargo is expected to head to South Korea's GS Caltex, its refining joint venture, while the second may go to Thailand's Star Petroleum Refining, according to the report.

Chevron declined to comment on the matter. Exxon Mobil did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
