NatWest Group (NWG) is in talks with investors to execute a significant risk transfer tied to 3.5 billion pounds ($4.73 billion) of commercial real estate loans, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing unnamed sources.
The proposed transaction would cover about 200 loans, according to the report. Terms are still under discussion.
The lender is also pursuing the move as it works to complete its 2.7 billion pound acquisition of Evelyn Partners, the report said.
NatWest did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
