日经新闻周二援引未具名美国政府消息人士的话报道称，美国当局主动进行了1月份的“汇率检查”以支撑日元，并准备在日本提出要求时进行联合干预。该报称，纽约联储代表美国财政部进行的汇率检查是在日本财务省没有提出要求的情况下进行的。
