Major digital assets rose Friday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) topping $67,000.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 1.3% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 rose 0.7%, the S&P 500 climbed 0.6%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.3%.
Bitcoin rose 0.8% to $67,659, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume surged 46.5% to $46.6 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, climbed 0.9% to $1,966.
XRP (XRP-USD) gained 0.5%, BNB (BNB-USD) rose 3.5%, and Solana (SOL-USD) added 3%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) advanced 2.8%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) surged 4.2%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.085% at 3 p.m. ET Friday, up from 4.073% Thursday, while the five-year yield edged up to 3.648% from 3.646%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 1% in the past 24 hours to $2.32 trillion, with trading volume rising 1.2% to $139.68 billion.
