MILAN, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Investment firm Permira said on Thursday it had named Giorgio Dinaro as head of its Milan office, replacing Francesco Pascalizi, who held the position since 2019 and will continue in his role as partner and global co-head of consumer.
Pascalizi will continue to be based in Milan, where Permira opened an office in 1988.
Since then, Permira funds have invested in more than 55 Italian companies, including fashion brands Valentino and K-Way, luxury sneaker maker Golden Goose, Italian flatbread chain La Piadineria, pet-care retailer Arcaplanet.
Previously at Bank of America Merrill Lynch's investment‑banking division, Dinaro joined Permira in 2014 from and became a managing director in the consumer team in 2021.
He currently sits on the boards of Golden Goose and Gruppo Florence, luxury‑sector supply chain group.
