Black Cat Syndicate Completes Processing of First Batch of Ore Through Western Australia Mill; Shares Up 4%

Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) completed the processing of the first 10,000-tonne parcel of ore from the Fingals and Majestic mines through the Lakewood Mill, part of the Kal East Gold Operation in Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The development of the Fingals open pit and Majestic underground mines is underway, with operations ramping up production, the filing said.

The board has also approved an expansion of Lakewood to 1.5 million tonnes per year for a capital cost of AU$20 million, with first ore scheduled through the expanded mill for March 2027 quarter, per the filing.

Shares rose nearly 4% in midday trade Thursday.
