该帖子称：“柯达公司于 2012 年申请破产。其最直接的竞争对手富士胶片也面临同样的问题：数码相机终结了胶片时代。富士胶片公司的应对之策是将自身的化学技术加以重新利用。曾经用于在胶片上形成感光乳剂的那些粒子科学知识，如今被用于生产CMP抛光液——这种抛光剂能够将每一个芯片层打磨至原子级别的光滑度。全球近一半的铜CMP抛光液来自富士胶片。他们斥资7亿美元从Entegris收购了一家高纯度工艺化学品公司，并在熊本新建了一座工厂，紧邻台积电在日本的首家晶圆厂。富士胶片2030年的电子材料营收目标为33亿美元。柯达看到的是日渐衰落的业务，而富士胶片看到的却是其背后的化学潜力。”
