0854 ET - Gildan Activewear CEO Glenn Chamandy signals a faster-than-planned integration of HanesBrands, highlighting early traction in combining the companies' scale and operational capabilities. He says on an analyst call, however, that manufacturing capacity remains tight in the near-term, and that it would have to reduce customer inventories to stabilize the system. Chamandy says production is expected to ramp up optimization throughout 2026 to then position the combined business for stronger growth into 2027. Chamandy says integration work is already driving supply-chain improvements, and the company now projects $250 million in synergies, up from the original $200 million target.
