在谷歌母公司 Alphabet 试图精简其在该领域布局的背景下，谷歌正在整合前登月计划机器人软件公司 Intrinsic。
在Alphabet 旗下的 “登月工厂” X 研发技术五年半之后，Intrinsic 于 2021 年 7 月成为Alphabet 旗下“其他赌注”业务部门的一家独立公司。谷歌母公司于周三宣布，Intrinsic 将被整合到谷歌本身。
虽然机器人手臂等硬件已变得更便宜，但对其进行编程仍然极其复杂，通常需要专业工程师花费数百小时进行手动编码，而且这种编码可能因特定的机器人而异。
Intrinsic 的旗舰产品 Flowstate 是一个基于网络的平台，允许用户无需编写数千行代码就能构建机器人应用程序。
Intrinsic 在公告中表示：“加入谷歌使我们能够加强我们在前沿人工智能领域的集体工作，涵盖从研发到部署和日常运营的各个环节，从而在制造业和物流领域实现工业用例。”
