Karoon Energy Posts Higher 2025 Earnings, Lower Revenue, Reaffirms Guidance

Karoon Energy (ASX:KAR) reported Thursday 2025 earnings of $0.1678 per share, up from $0.1597 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of $0.13.

Revenue for the 12 months ended Dec. 31, 2025, was $628.6 million, compared with $776.5 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $628.5 million.

The company reaffirmed 2026 guidance of total production of 8.1 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe) to 9.2 mmboe with total expenditure of $110 million to $135 million.

The board declared a final dividend of AU$0.031 per share, down from AU$0.05 a year earlier, payable March 31 to shareholders on record as of March 6.

The company's shares fell 1% in recent Thursday trade.
