据凤凰网，美国司法部日前公布新一批爱泼斯坦文件，美国富豪比尔·盖茨遭受冲击，他24日再次就此事发声。华尔街日报称，盖茨就他与爱泼斯坦的关系向盖茨基金会员工道歉，承认自己犯下的错误给这个慈善机构蒙上了阴影，但他坚称自己没有参与爱泼斯坦的犯罪活动。 盖茨承认曾与两名俄罗斯女性有过婚外情，后来被爱泼斯坦发现，但他强调这些婚外情与爱泼斯坦的受害者无关。他说：“我的确有过婚外情，一个是和一位在桥牌比赛中认识我的俄罗斯桥牌选手，另一个是和一位我通过商业活动认识的俄罗斯核物理学家。” 盖茨称，与他和爱泼斯坦关系密切的尼科利奇知道这些婚外情，并告诉了爱泼斯坦。尼科利奇曾是盖茨的科学顾问。“我没有做任何违法的事情。我也没有看到任何违法的事情，”盖茨说道。 他还表示，最近公布的爱泼斯坦档案中出现他与一些面部被涂黑的女性的合影，这是在会面后，爱泼斯坦要求他与其助手一起拍合影。“需要澄清的是，我从未与受害者，也就是他身边的女性有任何接触。我向因我的错误而被牵连其中的其他人道歉。”
