消息面上，爱德新能源宣布，拟斥3950万澳元对Horizon Minerals战略投资完成后，公司将合共持有目标公司约9.95%的已发行股本。这也意味着，公司将正式从原有核心的钛铁矿业务，切入前景广阔的黄金开采领域。
公开资料显示，Horizon Minerals是澳大利亚一间中型黄金生产商，截至2026年2月，其拥有的矿产资源量估计为3432万吨，每吨含金1.7克，合共约为188万盎司黄金，并由其位于西澳洲Boorara及Burbanks的重要基石资产的支持，资源禀赋优越，具备相当大的发展潜力。
