ChainCatcher 消息，英国国家安全委员会主席 Matt Western 呼吁紧急临时禁止加密货币政治捐款，以防范外国干预英国选举。Matt Western 表示，在处理加密货币捐款风险（包括对资金来源进行充分核查）之前，需要暂停此类捐款。
该委员会同时呼吁对选举违法行为的量刑进行审查，认为需要加强威慑力。Western 已致函负责选举财政的内阁部长 Steve Reed，要求立即采取行动——此前新选举法案未包含限制加密货币捐款的条款。
今年早些时候，改革英国党成为首个表示接受数字货币捐款的政党，据信已收到首批可登记加密货币捐款，并设立了专门的加密门户网站。Western 在信中表示，鉴于全球安全环境恶化，委员会担忧下一届选举前外国干预英国政治金融的意图可能加剧。
