Netflix昨日退出了收购华纳兄弟探索公司部分资产的交易，此前WBD董事会表示，他们认为派拉蒙更新的收购要约更为优越。这是这场持续数月、震动好莱坞的收购传奇中的最新转折。
在此之前，WBD周四表示，派拉蒙提出的每股31美元的全新全现金报价将优于其目前与Netflix的协议。它给了这家流媒体巨头四天时间来调整其提案。
此后不久，Netflix的联合首席执行官泰德·萨兰多斯和格雷格·彼得斯表示，匹配派拉蒙的报价使得这笔交易“在财务上不再具有吸引力”。
虽然Netflix只对收购WBD的制片厂和流媒体资产感兴趣，但派拉蒙想要收购整个业务。WBD的其他品牌包括CNN、TBS和TNT。
值得注意的是，萨兰多斯在公司宣布放弃交易前不久曾到访白宫。一位白宫官员告诉CNBC，萨兰多斯并未与唐纳德·特朗普总统本人会面。
Netflix和派拉蒙的股价在盘后交易中均跃升近8%。另一方面，WBD的股价下滑近2%。
