英国央行货币政策委员会成员Megan Greene撰文称，美联储若意外降息，可能加大英国持续通胀的风险，并需要采取更为限制性的政策立场。

　　一些经济学家认为，如果美联储进一步降息，英国央行可能也需要跟随放松政策，但Greene表示，“我认为，英国央行恰恰应当反其道而行之，这有充分理由”。

　　她指出，通过贸易渠道传导的外国货币政策对英国经济增长和通胀的影响“存在不确定性”。

　　不过，她补充称，美联储意外降息通过金融市场对英国产生的影响则“更为清晰”。

　　Greene研究美国国债历史走势后表示，10年期美债收益率下滑“会非常明显地推高英国的经济活动和通胀”。

　　总体而言，如果美联储意外降息导致美国收益率整体进一步下行，“可能会对英国经济增长和通胀形成上行压力”。

　　她还表示，基于另一家央行可能带来意外而制定本国货币政策并不合理，但美联储的行动确实是英国国内经济大环境的一部分。
