德意志银行分析师George Saravelos曾撰写了一份引发争议并招致美国方面不满的报告。他承诺将继续撰写报告，并表示此次事件凸显了独立研究的重要性。

　　Saravelos上月警告称，美国总统特朗普就格陵兰岛发出的威胁可能导致欧洲降低持有美国资产的意愿。数日后，美国财政部长贝森特表示，德意志银行首席执行官致电称德银不认同那份分析师报告。

　　Saravelos周三接受采访时表示，“此事再次印证了研究独立性的重要性”，并称自己获得了客户和同事的“巨大支持”。

　　Saravelos表示，“只要撰写扎实的分析报告，力求客观、聚焦市场而非政治，我认为并不困难。我们持续撰写报告，客户也乐于阅读。”

　　争议发生时，德意志银行发言人表示，“作为一项长期实行的政策，德意志银行研究部门的工作保持独立性，因此个别研究报告中表达的观点未必代表银行管理层的立场。”
