Lucid CEO Says 2026 EV Production Outlook is Conservative -- Market Talk

1239 ET - Lucid is taking a cautious approach to its 2026 production guidance, interim CEO Marc Winterhoff said in an interview with CNBC. The electric vehicle maker anticipates production of 25,000 to 27,000 vehicles in 2026, after doubling production to 17,840 vehicles in 2025. When asked why the guidance did not meet the bullish expectations of some analysts, Winterhoff said the company is cautious of the head winds it saw in 2025. "We decided to take a prudent approach and we can always go up," Winterhoff said. (amira.mckee@wsj.com)
